Dexo Tyndaritanus

also: Dexo of Tyndaris

Dexo of Tyndaris, a Sicilian noble and one of Verres's official hosts; his son Aristeus, captain of a Tyndaritan ship, was scapegoated for the loss of the fleet off Helorus and put in chains. Dexo travelled to Syracuse to plead for his son and is one of the named victims at Verr. 2.5.108-111.
