Diagoras

The celebrated Rhodian boxer and Olympic victor (5th century BC) who is said to have died of joy in the arms of his two sons after they were crowned victors at Olympia on a single day. A bystander told him to 'die now, for you will not ascend to heaven.' Not to be confused with Diagoras of Melos, the atheist.
