Dicaearchus of Messana (fl. late 4th c. BC), Peripatetic philosopher, geographer, and political theorist, a pupil of Aristotle. Author of constitutional treatises (On the Pellenians, On the Corinthians, On the Athenians) which Cicero was reading with admiration.
