Diodorus the Maltese, a well-born Greek resident at Lilybaeum, whose celebrated pair of Theban cups by Mentor moved Verres to issue a praetorian threat from which Diodorus saved himself only by flight from the province (Verr. 2.4.38-41). One of the prosecution's principal Sicilian witnesses.
