Euthydemus

also: Euthydemus of Mylasa

Leading citizen of Mylasa in Caria, on whom Cicero relied (when at Ephesus during his Cilician proconsulship of 51--50 BC) to send Greek civic representatives (ekdikoi) to Rome to settle the city's debt to the publican-banker Cluvius. Probably the same Euthydemus mentioned by Strabo as a magnate of the city.
