Heraclius Centuripinus

also: Heraclius of Centuripa

Heraclius of Centuripae, an excellent and noble young Sicilian against whom Verres permitted a malicious prosecution; the suit was deliberately compromised under terms that handed 400,000 sesterces to the governor (Verr. 2.2.66). Distinct from the more famous Heraclius of Syracuse. Otherwise unknown.
