Herillus of Carthage

Herillus

A pupil of Zeno of Citium who made knowledge (episteme) the highest good, departing from orthodox Stoicism. Cicero lists him with Aristo and Pyrrho as a thinker whose doctrine was long ago rejected and who leaves no basis for duty.
