Lucius Flavius

also: L. Flavium, L. Flavius

L. Flavius, a Roman knight of weight, who deposed at the first hearing of the Verres trial concerning the beheading of Herennius the African banker (Verr. 2.1.14); the same equestrian figure recurs in connection with several Sicilian outrages (Verr. 2.5.15). Probably the same L. Flavius later praetor in 58 BC.
