Lucius Flavius

Flavius

also: Flavius, Flavio, a Flavio tribuno pl.

Tribune of the plebs 60 BC who, backed by Pompey, promulgated an agrarian bill to settle Pompey's veterans and the urban poor on land bought with the new Eastern revenues; the senate obstructed it and it lapsed. FLAG: possible duplicate of the stub person:l-flavius-eques (first_appearance in-verrem-2-1), which appears to be an earlier and distinct figure; flag-not-merge.
