L. (Aelius) Ligus, a Roman senator and witness in the Dio of Halaesa case at Verr. 2.2.23. The Ligures Aelii were a known senatorial family of the late Republic; the man recurs in Cicero's correspondence (Ad Att. 7.18.4) as one of those who in the crisis of 49 BC suspended payments.
