L. Racilius, tribune of the plebs 56 BC and steadfast supporter of Cicero in his recall (Pro Plancio 77; Ad fam. 1.7); the same name appears at Verr. 2.2.31 as a hypothetical litigant in an example formula. The two are conventionally identified.
