L. Valerius Triarius, urban quaestor in 81 BC at the time of Verres's accounting for the Cinnan war-chest (Verr. 2.1.37); later praetor c. 78 and Lucullus's senior legate in the Third Mithridatic War. He shared the disaster at Zela (67 BC) and died in 67/66.
