L. Volteius, a comes (companion of the suite) of L. Metellus, Verres's praetorian successor; Verres's freedman Timarchides wrote to Apronius advising him to ingratiate himself with Volteius as the man whose word Metellus would follow (Verr. 2.3.154). Otherwise unknown.
