Lysone Lilybitano

Lyso of Lilybaeum, son of Lyso, a noble Sicilian of the western Sicilian port; among those Verres compelled to weave purple cloth (Verr. 2.4.59). His son figures as a recipient of Cicero's commendation at Ad fam. 13.34, where the family appears as Cicero's hereditary hospites.
