Marcus Caesonius

Caesonius

also: Caesonius

A Roman senator floated by some as a possible consular competitor of Cicero's in 65 BC (Att 1.1.1); he had been one of the jurors who exposed the corruption of the Iunian iudicium of 74 BC. He stood for the aedileship of 64 with Cicero rather than the consulship.
