Elder of two brothers from the town of Halaesa in Sicily, bearing a Roman nomen (Clodius) and Greek cognomen (Archagathus). Connected to Cicero both by hospitium (guest-friendship) and familiaritas (intimate friendship). Commended to the proconsul M'. Acilius Glabrio in 13.32.
