Marcus Fadius Gallus, a cultivated Epicurean intimate of Cicero and an art-collector; recipient of Fam. 7.23-7.27, including the famous letter on the statues Damasippus bought on his account. Brother of Q. Fadius (the jointly-held Herculanean estate of Fam. 9.25); also commended in Fam. 13.59 (50 BC).
