Marcus Iunius Brutus

M. Brutus (the prosecutor)

also: M. Brutus, Marcus Brutus

A man of the period of Sextius Calvinus who, despite a great name and an excellent jurist father, made a regular trade of prosecution like Lycurgus at Athens; a vehement and galling accuser. Cicero (Brutus 130) calls him a disgrace to the Junian line.
