M. Iunius Brutus, a Roman jurist of the second century BC, author of a dialogue treatise on the civil law (De iure civili); cited in Fam. 7.22 alongside Sex. Aelius and M'. Manilius. Distinct from M. Iunius Brutus the tyrannicide and from the accuser-orator of De Oratore.
