M. Mummium

also: Marcus Mummius

M. Mummius, the praetor or legate of L. Metellus in Sicily during the year after Verres, by whose letters Cicero confirmed the truth of his charges (Verr. 2.3.123). Probably to be identified with the tribune of 133 BC who killed Tiberius Gracchus or, more likely here, an obscure later Mummius.
