Marcus Vaccus

M. Vaccus

also: M. Vaccus, Vitruvius Vaccus

A man whose house was confiscated and razed for his crime, the site thereafter called the Vacci pratum (Vaccus's meadow) so that his guilt might be remembered by the name of the place. Cicero cites him among precedents for destroying a criminal's house.
