Myron of Eleutherae (active mid-5th century BC), the celebrated Greek bronze sculptor, master of the Discobolus and the Athena and Marsyas. Cited at Verr. 2.4.5 in connection with the bronze Hercules in the Heius shrine at Messana; one of the names that anchor Cicero's catalogue of plundered masterpieces.
