Gaius Octavius, adopted in Caesar's will as Gaius Iulius Caesar Octavianus and the future emperor Augustus. In 43 BC, aged nineteen, he fought against Antony at Mutina, then marched on Rome to seize the consulship and joined Antony and Lepidus in the triumvirate.
