Octavius Mamilius

Dictator of Tusculum and son-in-law of Tarquinius Superbus, whom he backed in the attempt to restore the monarchy at Rome. Cicero pairs him with Porsena as foreign powers Tarquin led against the fatherland. Distinct from the scribe L. Mamilius.
