Publius Antistius Vetus

Antistius Vetus

A Roman officer who had held an independent command (and the title imperator) and was a supporter of Brutus in 43 BC; he encountered Dolabella in Achaia, refused to give him money, and donated 20,000 sesterces of his own to Brutus's cause. He was standing as a candidate for the praetorship of 42 BC.
