Publius Asicius

P. Asicius

also: Asicius

Roman accused of complicity in the murder of the Alexandrian envoy Dio and acquitted at a trial in which Cicero defended him. Cicero cites Asicius's acquittal in the Pro Caelio to show that Caelius too was untouched by the Dio affair.
