Publius Lentulus

P. Cornelius Lentulus, consul 162 BC, princeps senatus, who prosecuted M'. Aquillius the consul of 129 BC on a charge of repetundae from Asia, with C. Rutilius Rufus as subscriptor (Div. in Caec. 69). A standing exemplum of the great consular prosecutor (Brut. 108; Pro Sest. 143).
