Publius Sulpicius Galba

P. Galba

also: P. Galba, Publius Galba

Patrician who in 65 BC canvassed openly and early for the consulship of 63 (Att 1.1.1), where Cicero reports him being refused 'in the old way'; he failed of election. Probably P. Sulpicius Galba, distinct from Servius Sulpicius Galba the tyrannicide (person:servius-sulpicius-galba); identity flagged, not merged with the stub person:p-galba-iudex.
