Quintus Cassius Longinus

Q. Cassius

Caesarian governor of Further Spain in 48-47 BC, notorious for his rapacity and the mutiny it provoked; the man Pollio names as "Q. Caesar" (a manuscript corruption) as the precedent for Balbus's misconduct. Not to be confused with the tyrannicide C. Cassius Longinus.
