Quintus Gallius
Gallius
also: Q. Gallius, Quintius Gallus, Gallus
Recipient of the recommendation letters Fam. 13.43 and 13.44, a governor (apparently a provincial magistrate) to whom Cicero commends L. Oppius and the affairs of L. Egnatius Rufus, c. 58 BC. Praenomen and nomen are uncertain: the manuscript opener reads "Quintius Gallus" / "GALLO", commonly normalized to Q. Gallius.
