Servius Sulpicius Galba

Galba

One of Caesar's assassins and an ancestor of the emperor Galba; in 43 BC he served with the consular armies before Mutina. His eyewitness dispatch (Fam. 10.30) is the fullest surviving account of the battle of Forum Gallorum.
