Spongia (juror at the Clodius trial)

Spongia

also: Spongia, Spongiam

One of the corrupt jurors who acquitted P. Clodius in 61 BC, named with Thalna and Plautus at Att. 1.16.6 as worthless 'rubbish'; the name (literally 'sponge') is otherwise unknown and probably a derisive nickname.
