Titus Antistius (quaestor in Macedonia)

Relative of C. Ateius Capito. Held Macedonia by lot as quaestor and was trapped there when Pompey arrived in 49--48 BC. Participated minimally in Pompeian coinage operations at Apollonia before withdrawing to inner Macedonia. After Pharsalus fled to A. Plautius in Bithynia, was ordered to Rome by Caesar, fell ill, and died at Corcyra. Had made a will at Rome in the consulship of Paulus and Marcellus (50 BC) leaving Capito the heir (13.29).
