Titus Coponius

T. Coponius

One of two learned and cultivated brothers (with his brother Gaius) at whose house the Alexandrian envoy Dio was staying when killed; the brothers had known Dio at Alexandria and deeply mourned his death. Cited by Cicero in the Pro Caelio as a character witness for Caelius.
