A Cilician dynast in the Amanus region, reckoned the most loyal Roman ally beyond the Taurus; he warned Cicero in 51 BC that Pacorus had crossed the Euphrates (Fam. 15.1). Later (founder of a local dynasty) styled king under the title Philantonios.
