Telephus

Telephus, in Greek myth the king of Mysia and son of Heracles, who as a child Achilles wounded and as a man only Achilles's spear could heal. Cicero invokes him at Pro Flacco 72 as the legendary guide who led Agamemnon's lost army across Asia — the standing reference for the difficulty of finding one's way in the Asian interior.
