Consul and censor (cos. 177, 163 BC), augur, father of the Gracchi and husband of Cornelia. Cicero recounts both his snake-omen at home and his letter that led the consuls of 162 to abdicate over a flaw in the auspices. (May duplicate existing person:ti-sempronius-gracchus-cos177.)
