Tigellius Hermogenes

Tigellius

also: Tigellio, Tigellius

A Sardinian singer and musician of Caesar's circle, grandson of Phamea; in Fam. 7.24 (45 BC) he is the 'pestilential' fellow estranged from Cicero, the 'pretty piper' grandson of Phamea. Famously satirized by Horace in Satires 1.2 and 1.3.
