Timarchides

Timarchides, Verres's freedman and accensus (orderly), the man through whom most of the bribes and back-channel deals in Sicily were transacted, and the writer of the post-departure letter to Apronius which Cicero produces as evidence (Verr. 2.2.69, 134; 2.3.154-159). One of the standing villains of the Verrines.
