Valerius praeco

Valerius, a Roman crier (praeco) used by Verres as one of his appointed recuperatores in the rigged tribunal against Nympho of Centuripae (Verr. 2.3.54). One of Verres's procedural outrages: the appointment of attendants and tradesmen as judges.
