Zeuxis of Blaundus

Zeuxis

also: Zeuxis, Zeuxim, Blaundeno Zeuxide

A man of Blaundus in Asia whom Quintus Cicero wished to prosecute as a matricide; Cicero, finding him almost more distinguished than his own city, instead received him into friendship to defuse Greek complaints. The case is a flashpoint in Cicero's reproach of his brother's severity (Q.fr 1.2).
