Balneae Seniae

the Senian baths

also: balneas Senias, Senian baths

Public bath-house in Rome named for one Senius, designated in the prosecution's narrative as the spot where Caelius's agent Licinius was to hand over the poison to Clodia's slaves and be caught in the act. Cicero mocks the supposed ambush staged there in the Pro Caelio.
