The Gradus Aurelii, the steps of the so-called Tribunal Aurelium in the Roman Forum (constructed c. 80 BC by the praetor Aurelius Cotta). The standing meeting-place of equestrian-class jurors and a famous resort of judicial loungers (Pro Flacco 66; Pro Cluentio 93).
