Heracleae

Heraclea Minoa, a coastal city of south-western Sicily at the mouth of the Halycus river. Like Agrigentum it received a senate reorganised on the lex Rupilia by P. Rupilius, and like Agrigentum its senatorial composition was tampered with by Verres for bribes (Verr. 2.2.125).
