Mutyca, an inland community of south-eastern Sicily (probably the modern Modica), one of the cities harassed by Theomnastus the Syracusan as tithe-collector under Verres (Verr. 2.3.101; 2.3.120). Among the Sicilian fields most depopulated by Verres's regime.
