Mycenae

The ancient citadel-city of the Argolid in the Peloponnese, seat of Agamemnon and a byword for the heroic Greek world. Cicero alludes to it in De Finibus 2.18 in the anapaestic line naming "all the Greeks of Athens and Mycenae and the rest."
