Petrinos

Petra (or the Petrini), a small Sicilian community in the western half of the island (perhaps modern Petralia); compelled by the publican Naevius Turpio under Verres to pay 52,000 sesterces for tithes nominally sold at 45,000 (Verr. 2.3.90). Not the Nabataean Petra.
