Thermae Himeraeae (modern Termini Imerese), a Sicilian city on the northern coast at the site of an ancient hot-spring sanctuary; populated after 408 BC by refugees from Himera. The home town of Sthenius, whose dispute with Verres is a central Verrine narrative (Verr. 2.2.83-118).
