Cato (Cicero)

Cicero's Cato

also: Catonem meum, my Cato, Cato

Cicero's lost laudatory pamphlet in praise of Cato the Younger, written shortly after Cato's suicide in 46 BC. It provoked Caesar's answering Anticato; Cicero notes here that Caesar attacked it "with too much impudence."
